Rhetoric School (9th-12th Grade)

Rhetoric courses meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for 50 minutes each. Our 9th-12th grade students will culminate their experience at Charis during these beautiful years of the Rhetoric School.  After building the valuable foundation of knowledge in the Grammar School and learning how those elements begin to fit together during their logic years, now our students will have the chance to explore and cultivate their own voice in the world during this new stage at Charis.  

Our desire is to teach our oldest group of students to really begin to detect and love the good, true, and beautiful things around them – most especially, the Gospel.  We pray that the virtue they have learned throughout their years at Charis will begin to take root in their hearts in a way that will cause them yearn to live for the truly better story.  Solid theological doctrine that weaves into all of their course work through the lens of a biblical worldview will be emphasized as well.  

They will not only learn these truths through their courses but will be taught how to articulate these things well, preparing them to enter a lost world with fellow image bearers.
