Admission into Charis Classical Academy is a 4-step process.  The purpose of our application and interview process is simply to ensure that families align with the vision of CCA and that a solid partnership will be feasible. Each step moves your student closer towards being an enrolled student at our campus.  We work hard to ensure our school is the most effective educational environment for all students enrolled.  We thoroughly review all new applications and interview new families to make sure we can create the best partnerships possible.

Having exposure to and continuing to grow in knowledge of both classical education and the CCA partnership model is essential for our families to be successful at Charis.  Our Info Session is the first step in ensuring that this learning process begins.  Prospective families will hear from and interact with our administrators and other experienced Charis parents as they learn about the foundational elements and goals of our program.

*Children are welcome to attend, however, this is conducted in a meeting setting that is geared towards information gathering for parents.  Finding alternative childcare for young children is recommended in order for parents to focus on obtaining all the necessary material.

Our next Information Session will be on Thursday, November 13 from 6:30-8:30pm.

You will need to complete an application for each new student to be considered for Charis admission. New Student Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be accessible through our website in February, after Priority Re-enrollment occurs for current CCA families. A non-refundable $50 fee is due for each application at the time of submission. Please note that the date of application does not guarantee enrollment but does place your student officially into our applicant pool to be considered for admissions.  Within 2-3 weeks from application submission, your family will receive communication from Charis either offering a new family interview or potentially a spot in a grade-level wait pool.*

*Wait pool applicants will be considered for any future spots that become available.  Our grade-level wait pools are unranked and will remain active until August 1st. If we do not have openings in your child's grade level but believe your student and family are a good fit for our school model, we will keep your child's application active until August 1st and let you know if a seat becomes available.

In order to determine if the school model, environment and curriculum will be effective for both parties involved, we will interview all CCA prospective students and their parents.  The purpose of our interview process is to ensure that families align with the vision of CCA and that a solid partnership will be feasible.  We work hard to make sure our school is the most effective educational environment for all students enrolled.  The applicant and both parents are required to be in attendance, but your whole family is welcome to attend.  We will begin conducting New Family interviews beginning in early March.

Charis will begin making admissions decisions and sending admissions emails in late-March.  These decisions will then be made on a rolling basis throughout the spring and summer for the grade levels in which we have available seats, and accepted students will then be invited to enroll.  Enrollment communicates your desire for your student to attend Charis, reserves his/her seat for the upcoming school year, and includes payment of the required annual Enrollment Fee ($425 for new families OR after March 15th for current families).  Course Registration and other instructions will follow in the coming weeks.
